What does everyone thing of the game so far? I think its a lot less black and white like fallout 3. With all the different factions there are a lot of different things you can do and wit this you can miss trophies as you can only get some with some factions

I'm really liking it Nem, looks like I'll be going for another playthrough too. I quite like the reputation system that shows your standing with the different factions. There's a lot of little improvements, like the ally command wheel, that has improved the experience significantly for me when compared to Fallout 3. Great game, I just wish they'd have paid more attention to the glitches.

I love the command wheel give you much more control over your followers. Am going to need a nothing play if not a few more. Been playing it now since it came out and still not done that much and only got a few trophies. Going to take a while to get 100%

I love the game. I've barely experienced any glitches. Had one in Freeside that ended up putting me back about 3 hours of gameplay, but I got over it. Only one crash and the occasional framerate drop. Other than that, I think it's great.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Fallout 3 didn't you get a new perk every level? I miss being the overpowered tank I was in Fallout 3.

Overpowered tank... You weren't on Very Hard mode, were you?

I am loving it Nem,
Only thing is i too have only just scratched the surface so your right its going to take quite awhile to reach 100%.

I was reading that there is a cut off point (after the Ring-a-Ding Quest) whereby if you make a game save you can play out the last few missions for each faction from that point onwards to save time. However due to the limited permanent skill books and only half the amount of perks to choose it seems you will not be able to get your character up to full strength in every area like you could in FO3 so i am already leaning towards multiple play throughs to gain different experiences.
I will probably do what i did on FO3 and end up just exploring and doing most if not all the side Quests first before really getting stuck in to the main story.

I started off on Very Hard but was struggling to progress so have now dropped it down to Normal.
After completing i will probably try a second play through on Hard.

The thing i am liking the most compared to FO3 tho is the Hardcore mode. For me it gives the game so much more depth having to be more aware about and monitor your characters state. It also means you need to be a lot more careful about what you carry about with you.

Yeah, same here. Hardcore mode was a brilliant idea and I'm really glad to see it be implemented in the way it has, it adds so much more depth to the game.
