Downloading Files

So I've been dicking around on my 360 trying out some demos when it struck me: I've been having a lot of success with downloading files on my 360 versus on my PS3.

Keep in mind this is all on the same connection.

Time it takes to download a 900mb demo on PS3: A couple hours

Time it takes to download a 900mb demo on 360: 10-15 min.

Same went for movies as well. In fact, the PS3 was terrible for downloading movies not available already on Netflix, though 360's handling of Netflix is horrendous.

Why does the PS3 have to have such shit connection problems?

Seems to be a lot worse for you than it is for me. Few hours for a 900mb file? Never that bad for me.

I noticed the same thing a couple years ago. I dont DL many large files, but game updates are the perfect example. A BF3 or COD update would take a few minutes to DL and install on PS3, while on the XBOX, it was complete in a few seconds.
