PS Vita's will only allow 1 PSN account per console accordding to new reports.

The information comes from NeoGAF who attended a PS Vita demo event in Osaka, where he picked up a leaflet with the launch information and a FAQ section which explained that the only way to get around this is to reset the console to its factory settings.

Q: How many PSN account can be set up on a Vita system?
A: Only 1 account. If you want to to use a different account, you need to format the system to factory settings.

Q: PSNアカウントは、PSVita本体1つに対して何個まで設定できますか?
A: 1つです。別のPSNアカウントで使用したい場合は、本体の初期化を行ってください。

The fact's of this story have changed -
"At a recent press event in NYC, Sony associate brand marketing manager Cyrstal MacKenzie told Wired.com that the PSN account is tied to the Vita's memory card, not the hardware itself, and you can use multiple memory cards to access additional PSN accounts per system.
Your PSN ID is bonded to your memory card and your memory card is bonded to your Vita. So if you wanted to change different PSN users but use the same memory card, you would need to go factory reset.

Not as bad as it originally seemed, but it does mean you will have to purchase more expensive memory cards if you plan on using different PSN accounts. This makes the PlayStation Vita a costly sell to families with children who plan on sharing the handheld. That is unless they want to share a single PSN account as well.

The PlayStation Vita is an amazing system, but recent news about the memory cards and pricing may end up holding it back from greatness"

And it's back to one user per unit again

"[The] PSN account is tied to the hardware and the memory card, not just the card," Sony told Wired, "which means that if a second person is using your Vita, it's not just a case of switching out memory cards, it's clearing out all of your saved data on the Vita itself when you do the factory reset."
