UKHQ V LAG! Friendly

Postby dazzafett » Mon Sep 28, 2009 11:53 am

Hi Guys!
After the Fun that we all had last week in our League game Jdot and i thought it would be good to set up a friendly match sometime with the possibility of this becoming a weekly event if we can generate enough interest.
What we propose is 6v6 games based on the original 4 members in the team league set ups but with both sides also inviting in another 2 members each time. Obviously UKHQ already have a few members wanting to join anyway but LAG! would need some Volunteers to step up to the plate and take on the challenge.
Format is flexible and open for disscussion but i think sticking to one team picking 3 different modes and maps for that week would be a good starting point with a Final FFA game to finish up at the end like we did with Shotguns on Dome would be good as well.
If this looks like it could get going as a weekly event then for ease it may be better to stick with a set day of the week and time for the games to take place and rather than keep re arranging then if you are unable to make it that week then someone else can just fill in or we just go with 4v4 or 5v5 ect instead.

I think the best format would be to Pick a Set Date and Time and then one side picks the 3 modes and maps earlier that day with the other team taking a turn to pick the following week.
This can be on either W@W or MW but for ease all three should be on the same Game for that day.
Of course MW2 can also come into the equation when it is out.

So Your Thoughts?

Also anyone up for the challenge of taking on UKHQ by joining team LAG! for some of these friendlies then please put your name down.
There will be no restriction on where you are from if you do want to join however i think its likely that
a preffered start time will be around 7-9pm GMT so please take this into consideration. Also all games will be hosted in the UK due to the fact that all the players currently involved are based here.
