Mass Effect 3 Co-op

Mass Effect 3 Co-op

Postby jloco11 » Tue Mar 27, 2012 9:40 pm

Figured I'd get this joint started.

Those who have it, this is the game I have been playing for the past month, so feel free to add me for some co-op rounds. I could use the help at night with Haytred instead of getting stuck with randoms!

If you haven't gotten the game or don't know if you would be interested, trust me, this game is addicting. It's certainly not a unique co-op, everything has been done before... but ME3 is addicting and does shit well (aside from the PS3 freezing, connection problems, sound going out and extra long time for loading screens)

I just got ME3 today. Not tried co-op yet but I'd be happy to give it a go sometime if you needed someone.

Playing co-op will actually add some meaningless points to your score for Single Player!

Did a few sessions tonight, quite enjoyed it. Last match was unfortunate, was doing excellently throughout then got finished off by a low time limit for taking down an Atlas in round 10.

Rocket launch the motherfucker! Chances are an engineer was repairing him without you seeing it.

Hah, I couldn't even get there, while the other two were battling him I was around the corner keeping the swathes of combat engineers occupied...

Were you in a party or with teammates?

First thing we do in round 10 is take the Atlas out with a rocket so that we can work on the time bonus! So as he hits the floor, shove a rocket up his ass.

In a party with two friends. This was my first MP session though and first time on that map so I didn't know what to expect at round 10; the previous rounds I'd been flanking one of the enemies' entry points, which while very successful, meant the Atlas spawned behind me so I had to dash forward to find cover and got cut off by turrets. Sadly I didn't have any rockets due to my low rank, but I bought a pack afterwards that I think gave me one.

Eventually I will be posting up a video of our hijinx... but the best thing to do in co-op is let the enemies come to you. Build a strong hold around an ammo box and just pick them off 1 by 1.

That's the good thing about co-op games, enemies always come to you without thinking!
