Command and Conquer Generals 2

This game looks very nice, I'd love to give this a go. It seems they are now stating it is a C&C reboot rather than Generals 2, not sure what difference that will make.

"In development at Victory Games, the free-to-play PC title runs on DICE's Frostbite 2 engine, meaning it'll offer realistic lighting and physics, and buildings that topple and crumble in the chaos of battle."

As a long time C&C fan I'll definitely give this a look when it's out, be very interesting to see how Frostbite works with it. Plus, free to play! Can't go wrong.
I never liked Generals nearly as much as the others but I'll try it nonetheless.

I did enjoy the odd dabble in C&C, quite a fun game. Is this out now? and will it run on my shitty laptop?

It's not out yet, I can't find a firm release date, just later on this year it seems. As for running requirements, I guess we'll have to see nearer the time. I hope it works!

It better have FMV video briefings, Generals 1 sucked due the lack of them

It was a disappointment, FMV is a dying breed in videogames these days and C&C always did it brilliantly.

The whole 'BF3 engine with C&C' puts me in mind of this
