Resogun Leaderboard

Time to shake this leaderboard up a bit.

winger-dinger joins the struggle with an impressive 31,410,860, and thus flies straight into 4th place.
New top score is 166,453,680. That Overdrive explosion certainly does give a lot of points if timed well. Remember, the more enemies you can round up using that, the better.

Since I upgrade to Next-Gen I decided to download Resogun and after a while I got the hang of the game.
Probably finished about 4-5 levels, I'll add you if you want Lt. Fatman and I guess you can place my score on if you want.

Nice one, send me a friend request and when I get back from New Zealand at the end of the month I'll add your score to the leaderboard.

Gave this a bit of a go yesterday.
Cant seem to get the hang of it as only on Experienced and even finding that tough going to survive without even worrying about the score!
Think i am missing something as it seems impossible to survive one level without losing your lives let alone survive all 5 for one of the trophies.
Tips anyone?

Boosting helps a lot Dazza. I also wouldn't worry about saving the humans for now, just focus on getting the weapon upgrades. Someone else might have some more useful advice (which I'd also like), as I haven't even completed Experienced difficulty yet. Can't beat the final boss on it! Thinking of trying to use the ship with the highest agility for it, see if that makes dodging any easier.

Strangely I think the first level is also one of the hardest. Found some of the others a lot easier than the first for some reason.

I am using the Ship that has equal stats. Im stuck on the final level of Experienced as well.
Keep losing lives cheaply before the end which is very frustrating.

I forget it's name, but use the fastest ship. Much easier for beginners.

The left ship / fastest ship has much better agility and more boost which also replenishes faster. As such it is definitely the best one for staying alive on the lower difficulties. It's primary weapon also has homing abilities for enemies when upgraded and that can save you from dying quite a bit as well. Remember when boosting you are invincible. In a pinch don't be stingy with the bombs, they will save you. Lastly don't forget to use overdrive, it's awesome.
