Windows 8

Windows 8

Postby Musashi1596 » Mon Feb 25, 2013 11:58 pm

So the laptop I'm currently typing on is barely working, and I've been looking to replace it. Best model I could find that somewhat suits what I want and doesn't cost a bomb is this http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Lenovo_I ... p#maindesc

Problem is, like most laptops, it comes with Windows 8. I'm very much a fan of W7 and am very put off by the idea of W8. So I ask, do any of you have it and can offer any thoughts? I hear it's possible to make it appear somewhat like 7, anyone had any luck in doing so?

It has two "modes". Touch of a button and you have the "app" look. Push it again and you have the Win7 look.
